There's something fascinating about Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights & all it's chracters but one especially, Heathcliff. just saying the name sends chills down my spine & not in a good way...

There's been many film adaptions but I don't feel any could ever portray such a intense creature........& all his Flawed, Tortured & Passionate Love.

  1. And yet, I don't like any of them! That's why I haven't watch any of those movies. I have my own idea of Heathcliff :-)

  3. Okay, now I’m intrigued. I’ve never read the book, and I never really heard of it until yesterday. I noticed that one of the girls I work with at DISH was reading it on her break, and I asked what she though of it. She said that she loved it, and she doesn’t know why she never read it in high school, but instead based her book report on the Cliff notes. I’ve been fiddling on the internet for most of this afternoon, and I’ve been surprised to find that there are so many film adaptations. I keep reading nothing but great things, but to read of a character being “wild & untamed” really makes me curious. I’m heading to the bookstore tomorrow to pickup my copy, and I’ve already added a few film versions to my Blockbuster @Home queue. They send me discs rather quickly, so even though I’ll probably still be reading the book, I at least won’t have to worry about accruing any late fees while I finish the book first. Thanks so much!
