Summary from Goodreads:
the longing.
Once Grace and Sam have found each other, they know they must fight to stay together. For Sam, this means a reckoning with his werewolf past. For Grace, it means facing a future that is less and less certain.
the loss.
Into their world comes a new wolf named Cole, whose past is full of hurt and danger. He is wrestling with his own demons, embracing the life of a wolf while denying the ties of a human.
the linger.
For Grace, Sam, and Cole, life is a constant struggle between two forces--wolf and human--with love baring its two sides as well. It is harrowing and euphoric, freeing and entrapping, enticing and alarming. As their world falls apart, love is what lingers. But will it be enough?

My Review:
I liked the first book, but I absolutely loved the second one in this trilogy.  Linger was a wonderful follow-up to Shiver.  We got some new characters, and more on some of thesecondary characters, and well, I definitely have new favorites.

Cole St. Clair was a wonderful addition to this story.  His tortured bad-boy personality completely sucked me in.  I just loved him, and his character really enhanced Isabelle’s.  I really hope there is more of these two together in the third book.

Sam and Grace are still the sweetest couple.  And it was that sweetness that had me cheering for them.  They had their problems in this book.  They had to fight for their relationship, and you just can’t help but want them to get that well deserved HEA.

Stiefvater’s writing is beautiful.  Her words flow brilliantly and easily from page to page, full of wonderful descriptions and captivating scenes.  Memorizing and Breathtaking.

Linger had the perfect mix of heartbreak and skin tingling happy moments.  I loved every page, every sentence, every word.  This book is a must read.
